Leg-of-Lamb (Bone-in)

$174.00

$26 per pound, each leg is 6.7lb on average.

Ridgemeade Ranch leg of lamb is a slow roast that tastes like a place. Our flock grazes the southern Lake Erie ridge where a moderated lake climate keeps pastures growing late into the season, and mineral-dense glacial soils shape the herbs and grasses they eat. The result is lamb with a clean sweetness, a mineral brightness, and fat that carries nuance instead of heaviness. Salt it well, roast it gently, and you get that deep browned edge and a tender interior that keeps its juices when you carve.

Ridgemeade lamb is grass-fed and grass-finished on diverse pastures. No grain. No antibiotics. Harvested once each year at 8 to 11 months of age in late fall, after a full grazing season and the first frosts, when cool-weather forages concentrate sugars and essential oils.
