A Family-Scale Ranch Beyond Labels

Ridgemeade is a family ranch built on standards, not labels.

Words like organic and natural are not enough. We do not chase certifications. We run a system you can see. Pasture-based livestock, adaptive grazing, zero-drugs, zero-grain, long grass recovery, and a decision rule that favors land health and animal-welfare and low stress handling over convenience and squeezed margins.

Our lamb is raised on the south Lake Erie ridge, born, raised, and finished on pasture in a unique lake effect micro-climate. It is terroir-driven in the only way that matters: The animals are born and live in this place, and this place shows up in a well-cultivated plate.

We also produce a small portfolio of farm goods and spirits, in season and in limited runs. We serve chefs and private buyers who plan ahead and care how things are raised.
